Vintage 1930s Bed Jacket Trimmed at the neck with peach swansdown.
Made by Mounthill of London W1
It’s ultra feminine and so exceptionally soft. Light as a feather Pure lambs wool has been hand crocheted into a stunning cobweb lace. The back is generously duster styled with a dainty swing as the lady moves.
The jacket is lined in a gossamer fine pure silk crepe, which is in pink with a tie to the front

The sleeves are cuffed and balloon styled with a panel of swansdown above, very Art Deco in design and they too have been lined. The item came with a consignment of stock from a retired North Yorkshire boutique which closed in 2000.
It is unworn and in original condition
These bed jackets may be worn not only in the boudoir but also as evening boleros or cocktail jackets. Team with a broad belt, boyfriend jeans and a tee for an ultra unique look.
