Genuine Vintage 1967 Norwegian style Hooded Poncho Cloak or Cape.
Made by Nord Weave of Scotland
The garment is made from Pure new Wool and trimmed at the edges with a 2.5” braided wool tassel.
I am informed that it was purchased in Norway in January 1967 and was worn just for this season then it was stored.
The cut is of a traditional design with reinforced seams to the shoulders, which are slightly dropped to give a smother lay to the cape.
The lining is cream rayon and has been hand stitched into the garment.

It was taken into a private fashion collection in 1980s where it was stored in a controlled environment.
The garment has been shown in natural light for clarity and is completely untouched digitally. All measurements have been taken when the item was laid flat and is the actual seam to seam measurements. Kindly consider this when comparing against ones own size.
