Vintage 1950s Wiggle Dress by Shubette.
The fabric is a jersey silk and has a very subtle shimmer to the design.
It’s unique and very beautifully made, with dainty pleating over the tummy and bodice, with a faux wrap over front.
The neckline is classical, with a large collar which leads into the bodice, overall it is highly exquisite and extremely chic
The cocktail dress was part of a consignment of retired stock from a North Yorkshire boutique
The fabric is in the most stunning condition although it has been worn and there are two storage marks, which remain despite the gown being dry cleaned. Please see last photo
It’s simply stunning and perfect for any vintage themed venue, and wonderful for retro weddings.
