True Vintage 1950s Dirndl Dress, which has been created from the most gorgeous cotton and lined with linen to the bodice.
Beautifully hand made with large silver buttons, fitted bodice and semi-circle skirt with a flat front and 4” box pleats.
The dress is shown with a cotton blouse, and apron these are not included but can be purchased in my shop.
The shoulder straps may be altered with the silver buckle, there are also dainty elasticated panels to the underarms for added comfort
It was originally bought in 1959 and remained unworn within a Private Collection belonging to a fashion designer. Its exquisitely designed, with the utmost style to compliment the wearer.
I am listing this as a uk 14 although the notes connected to the dress state that it is a size 16
The measurements given were taken when the garment was laid flat and relaxed.
