The garment was part of a fashion collection and has remained in its original 1950s unworn condition. The fabric is in the most stunning condition, and the dress has been cut to compliment beautifully, a curvy figure.
The dress has been created to fit where it touches. It’s sensual and very tactile. It has been created to fit closely.
The fabric is a medium weight black silk velvet Devore and a lightweight crushed velvet on a Half and Half style.
It is so absolutely gorgeous and it’s in original 1950s condition.
The dress closes off centre with press studs at the neck and traditional red silk Chinese faux fastenings. The back closes with an ultra long hidden zip, as the dress is styled to be worn very close fitting
It’s simply stunning and perfect for any vintage themed venue, wonderful for retro weddings, parties and Goodwood.
