Vintage 1959 Dirndl Dress, which has been created from the most gorgeous heavy linen and is lined to the bodice, which is stiffened to the front.
Beautifully hand made with gold embroidery to the fitted bodice and semi-circle skirt with a flat front and 4” box pleats.
The dress is shown with a blouse, this is included free.
It was originally bought in 1959 and remained unworn within a Private Collection belonging to a fashion designer. Its exquisitely designed, with the utmost style to compliment the wearer.
I am listing this as a uk 14 although the notes connected to the dress state that it is a size 16
The measurements given were taken when the garment was laid flat and relaxed.
