Stunning Ladies Driving Coat or Duster Coat.
Made in Paris 1919
High stiffened collar with defined Art Deco chevron detailing to the coat and gathered & padded shoulders.
The garment is 100 years old and this should be considered as it shows signs of wear.
The sleeves have chevron detailing and overall the coat is styled extremely generously to accommodate movement as the lady drives. The coat is without a makers name or size label, so please kindly refer to the measurements given comparing them against a garment of ones own.
The coat is in fabulous condition, it's been cut and styled to be worn over a suit or other outdoor clothes, reputedly once owned by one of the very first American Lady test drivers. Stunningly beautiful with an understated style and chic.
Lined in silk georgette, this is without damage although there is a little fading, the coat has been hand stitched and finished, the work being of an exemplary high standard.
