Gorgeous and simply stunning Unworn Vintage 1940s Luxurious Honey Mink Cocktail Duster Jacket with defined Couture styling to the pelts to give a slightly fitted front and a duster/swing back, mandarin collar and square shoulders.

The sleeves are absolutely divine, slightly ballooned with drawn in cuffs.
This is truly a rare jacket, I’ve only come across such defined styling a handful of times.
Professionally cleaned and ready to wear.
The mink is panelled to give a more structured look to the lay of the fur, which has been carefully used to fashion this luxurious item.
Wonderfully soft and tactile, it’s styled lower towards the back, giving a slight fishtail look. It has been cut to lay just below the hips, with a generous collar, rounded edges at the front and very full sleeves with gathered cuffs
The lining is a coffee creme silk which is without odour.
To the bottom right edge, the lady’s initials are embroidered in coffee creme silks.
The garment is unworn and in original condition, although there is a water mark to the lining. Please see last photo
This is such a beautiful garment, perfect for any bride, or a fashionable lady at the Goodwood races, maybe a fabulous gift for a prom princess. It’s been table cut and the lining is hand sewn.
