Vintage 1950s Dress Dirndl Skirt Austrian Bavarian Silver Buttons 50s Pinup
True Vintage 1950s Dirndl Dress, which has been created from the most gorgeous cotton.
Beautifully hand made with large silver coin buttons, fitted bodice and huge circle skirt. The dress is shown with a cotton blouse, this isn’t included but it does come with a fabulous blue and white apron.
It was purchased in 1954 worn for a couple of seasons and placed into a Private Collection belonging to a fashion designer. Its exquisitely designed, with the utmost style to compliment the wearer. The dress has been worn and there are slight signs of this.
I am listing this as a uk 16 although the notes connected to the dress state that it is a size 14
The measurements given were taken when the garment was laid flat and relaxed.
