Fabulous vintage 1930s Double Fox Fur Wrap or Stole. The fur is dark mocha with white shading, overall Stunning and luxurious with iridescent guard hairs, and very light in weight.
The wrap is lined in silk
Glass eyes to the heads The silk rope tassel is without damage.

These fabulous accessories look stunning no matter how they are worn, perhaps over a cocktail gown when the evenings are cool, draped over one shoulder when wearing a suit or tucked snuggly around the neck when wearing an open edge to edge coat. They were constantly worn and adapted from the 1890s through to the very early 1950s.
The fur is without moult and there are no bald patches.
This item has been part of a private collection since the early 1950s and has been stored in a temperature controlled room. Date of the last cleaning was September 2018.
