Vintage 1900s Roller Skates Ball Bearing Wheels Adults Adjustable
Made in about 1905.
Ball bearing roller skates. These are quite robust and very well made.
Stored for over 100 years in a country estates store rooms, all the joints have been very well greased and despite cleaning some original grease still remains.
The skates have not been safety tested as to their joints etc, so unfortunately I can not give any reassurances, other than to say the ball bearings and wheels appear to be free moving.
They appear to be adjustable to suit adults sizes 5 to 9.
The length presently is 10”
The width across the sole support is 4.15”
The leather foot strap is sound, the buckle is firm.
