Vintage 1980s Gaston Jaunet Ladies Linen Two Piece suit, with large padded shoulders to the double breasted jacket and stylish pencil skirt.
The jacket has large flapped pockets, and fastens with natural pearl buttons, with 3 buttons to the cuffs completing the finish.
The pencil skirt is longer length and the suit has been lined in a rayon mix and is hand finished. To the back there is a centre pleat with darting above.
The measurements have been taken seam to seam when the garment was laid flat. Please compare against a similar garment for correct fit.

This wonderful suit was part of a private fashion collection, covering over 150 years, and was stored a few years following its purchase.
The collection was handed down through the ladies of the family and each added their own styles, to give a fab insight into the history of fashion. The suit has been shown in natural light for clarity and is completely untouched digitally.
