Original Vintage 1880s pure linen & lace Bustle Peplum Camisole or under corset chemise with the most exquisite lace work, and hand made linen Buttons.
Made in 1887 it was given as a brides Dowry gift by her Mother. It’s been worn and there are two age marks to one shoulder.
It is truly wonderful and so beautiful, just perfect for adding a unique and genuine look to any vintage collection, being highly wearable as a vintage addition to any themed ensemble. Wear as intended as an undergarment or team with skirts, pants, shorts or under a business suit for a touch of feminine chic, it's so very versatile in colour and design.
All measurements were taken seam to seam when the garment was laid flat, and given as a guide to compare against a similar item.
