Original Vintage 1950s Lady Alice Tea Dress, which has been created from the most gorgeous blue and white floral waffle nylon. It’s an absolute treat as it’s completely unworn and is exceptionally wearable today. It’s gorgeous and has a fabulous nostalgic rustle as the lady moves.
Lovely styling to the scoop neck, with bow trim, gently fitted bodice into a belted waist over an exceptionally full and generous skirt. Overall it’s fresh and clean looking with a hidden side zip of 8”
It was purchased in 1954 and placed immediately into a Private Collection belonging to a vogue fashion designer. Its exquisitely designed, with the utmost style to compliment the wearer. The dress has been freshly dry cleaned and is now ready to wear.
I am listing this as a uk 12/14 although the notes connected to the dress state that it is a size 16
The measurements given were taken when the garment was laid flat and relaxed.
