Antique 1850s hand made French lace edged double bed throw hand made from fabulous red and white heavy linen rosettes.
Rare and part of a Brides Trousseau - this Bed Linen formed part of an exclusive Private collection connected a North Yorkshire Country Estate
Fabulous homespun heavy Yorkshire Linen has been used to make this wonderful, unique and truly beautiful throw.
Completely all hand sewn, and is without foxing, age marks or thinning. The last noted laundering was in September 2002. This throw is simply magnificent, the perfect finishing touch to any antique themed homestyle boudoir or chic B & B.

The linen was laid away in storage in 1907 with an inventory date of October 1857 as the date when it was originally given as a gift, the item is in near original condition.
The linen is homespun, and the weave can been slightly seen in places, the fabric is without age related marks, and the fabric has been shown in natural light for clarity and is completely untouched digitally.
Kindly note, that all my items are from private heirloom and private fashion collections, and museums, or purchased direct from estates, and never from auctions or fabric reclamation centres.
