Vintage 1930s Morley Bronze Satin Art Deco Cocktail Dress. Original Rare Unworn Designer Sample with Motley tag and makers/seamstress label hidden on an internal return seam.
Table cut and completely hand sewn.
This is a very simple gown yet the cut it has turned it into the utmost couture cocktail dress.
Delightful neckline on the square with an ultra long Art Deco metal side zip and inverted kick pleat at the back.
It has been made to compliment the ladies curves and is extremely fitted. Wear with a long navel length set of black pearls and fur wrap or maybe a silk piano shawl for the ultimate evening attire.
The design of the dress is still bang on trend, couture like this never dates and would make a stunning addition to any collection. The gown has been professionally cleaned and is free of foxing, fading to the fabric or shattering.
Most suited to a uk size 6 perhaps 8.
