Vintage 30s Dressing Gown Robe Peignoir Art Deco printed Linen Exquisite Bias Cut Belted 14
Rare French made Vintage Art Deco 1930s Dressing Gown Robe or Peignoir with a stylised shawl collar, turn back scalloped cuffs, horseshoe pocket and sash belt. Cut, exquisitely, on the bias to give a Luxurious Fluidity to the fabric as the lady moves.
Once belonging to a Starlet of the 30s and 40s and then taken into the ownership of a Private fashion collection in 1951, it has been stored in a temperature controlled store since this date.
All measurements were taken seam to seam when the garment was laid flat.
