Unused Vintage Yorkshire bed linen C1942
The fabric is antique white and very stiff, as they still have the original finishing. Marked up with the official utility CC41 stamp they confirm to the manufacturing specifications No.10/647
The cases are quite rare, as many have been used and then discarded, whilst these were placed into a linen chest since they were given as a dowry gift.
Hand Drawn borders are at each end, the pillowcases close with an internal envelope flap.

Please note that the pillowcases will require a gentle soak in Luke warm water to loosen the finishings within the fabric.
Originating from a North Yorkshire Estate, they are in the most desirable condition. Perfect for dressing a brides bedroom, or for adding charm to an antique themed home, they are quite a statement piece to say that they have remained unused and stored away, for over 70 years, and are as fresh and crisp as the day they were purchased.
