Antique 1890-1900 Rare Raphael Tuck Dressing Doll Costume Sets. Artistic series and including 1A, 1C, 1E, IIIA, XII etc.
There are 2 dressed dolls and 19 costumes which and in addition to, includes 10 large Hats.
There is a little damage to the figures, please see photos, but I can confirm that the costumes and hats are in a stunning condition.
A fantastic item of fashion history. The sets are absolutely divine, the colours still vivid and sharp. These would make a wonderful addition to any serious collection.
The sets have been in a velvet bag, in a store room for donkeys years, and passed down to the girls in the family. I received them some time ago, and they have remained unused. I'm having a clear out so they have got to go.
