Absolutely wonderful, unused and pristine.
Stunning Baby's Sky Blue Puff Ball Rompers which have the most divine vivid hand embroidery to the bib front and the two stylised pockets. The set is completed with a Broidery Lingerie Fine linen top, which has a delicate self stripe and has been hand finished with lace too. This fastens with pearl buttons to the back.
Age 12 months this dinky little set has remained in a linen closet, since it was originally purchased for a wedding, unworn as it was always kept for 'best'.
This gorgeous Vintage set was made by Ed Sturzenegger, one of Switzerland's best-known garment embroidery companies, and quite rare as it was made in Switzerland and not the Philippines.
The company was well known during the late 1800s to around 1970s. The company was quite famous for selling machine-made embroidery since 1881.
The item in this listing is from a private collection, it is not from a clothing warehouse, fabric reclamation unit or auction, therefore I am able to confirm authenticity and provenance of each item.
