Antique 1900s Luxurious Caen Hand Made Chantilly Black Silk Bobbin Lace trim, it is truly exquisite, completely unused and still requires trimming of the casting threads to its edge.
It's in the most pristine condition and would be perfect for trimming lingerie, handkerchiefs, dress neckline or as an overlay on gothic inspired shoes.

Such a wonderful fabric should be seen and shown off, that's why I'm selling as previously it was part of my collection of heirloom linen and lace which dates from the 1700s. It would be the perfect vintage accessory, or an indulgent treat for an avid collector.
This particular item belongs to my family and I'm lead to believe that it was made by my Spanish elders who relocated to the French region of Caen.
It has been very well stored in a well ventilated store room and is without any damage whatsoever, being museum quality.
