Antique 1890 Italian Shimmering Blonde Fichu Lace with very fine needle run detailing.
It has the appearance of a fine gossamer Chantilly lace.
It is truly exquisite and without any hole, moth damage or age marks and is in pristine condition.
The measurements are; Length 98cm x 88cm - 39" x 35"
Such a wonderful fabric should be seen and shown off, that's why I'm selling as previously it was part of my collection of heirloom linen and lace which dates from the 1800s
It would be the perfect accessory for a Brides vintage wedding, or an indulgent treat for an avid collector.
This particular item belonged to a family member and was their heirloom. It has been very well stored in a well ventilated store room and is without any damage whatsoever, being museum quality. This particular lace originates from Southern Mainland Europe Spain or probably Italy.
