Very early 18th century, Georgian ladies frock coat and pre-dates, the 1830s
It is in somewhat of a distressed state, and my recommendations are to stabilise the material by way of a very good lining with reinforcements under the areas of shattering

Shoulder to hem 35 inches
To the front there are five hook and eyes which are metal and appear to be the original.
The front, and also the back of the coat has silk rope appliqué, and this is in the most stunning beautiful and pristine condition, the same has been applied to the turn back cuffs.
I would not recommend that this garment is worn as in the present condition, but I believe it would be wearable following the stabilisation of the material.
The coat originates from a country estate and was part of the antique clothing collection It has had a very light hand cleaning and is free of odour.
