Stunningly handmade with French jet appliqué and long jet fringing
Wonderful, stand-up collar and very dainty padded shoulders.
This is from my own heirloom collection and I can vouch for the provenance that it was made in Spain before my grandparents moved to England
There is no size label, but I would at a guess say that it would suit a size 10 to a size 14. I’m supplying the measurements to help please compare them against an item of your own for the correct fit
Across there, shoulders 16 inches
Depth of collar 4 inches
The shoulder caps/sleeves are 7 inches
The tassels 13.5 inches
The cape point at the front measures over 12.5 inches and this is the same for the back
This is the most Fabulous item which has been very well looked after and kept in storage.
It has been cleaned and is without any odour. I have actually worn this was a Victorian gown and also worn it with a 1940s evening stress both times it worked extremely well.
I would say that it would fit a size 10 and no more than a size 14.
