Stunning 1960s Gever Originals of Beverly Hills USA for the Penthouse Shop Wheeling.
Hand made Cobalt blue Silk Cocktail Dress with exquisite georgette silk Balloon sleeve and 4” cuffs.
The dress has been designed on the shift style, with full balloon sleeves. The dress has an under lining of an iridescent blue silk. The gown has an ultra long metal zip to the back, which is hidden underneath the delicate detailing This is an exceptionally rare and beautiful dress, which was added to a fashion designers collection in 1963 where it has remained. This style of dress was evident from 1961, this model is quite rare as it is completely unworn styled to a more modernist look. Despite this non of the couture elements were lost, the seams and hems are all hand finished.
The gown is in exceptional Pristine condition, without any damage, age marks or thinning.
