This is a very old but Beautiful Antique Shawl.
Dates from 1900
Super soft cream boiled wool with a silk embroidery in openwork.
The embroidery is both by hand and machine
The item has been kept in a private heirloom collection, and has been carefully stored in a linen chest since the late 1920s The corners are square, expertly hand sewn and rolled and machine stitched on all edges, with a hand knotted cotton fringe, which is free of tangles.
