This is a very old and perfectly Beautiful Antique Regency Shawl.
Super soft cream boiled lambswool with silk embroidery in the paisley design.
The item has been kept in a private heirloom collection, and has been carefully stored in a linen chest since the late 1890s The corners are square, expertly hand sewn and rolled on two edges, with a hand knotted fringe, which is free of tangles.

According to my grandmother collections inventory the shawl predates the 1880s and was originally purchased in about 1870s and originates from Kashmir in India
