Vintage 1950s pink nylon Chantilly lace and Georgette cocktail dress.

The bodice of the dress is extensively ruffled with beautiful informal pleating and broad shoulder straps.
The skirt of the dress is a circle and half, under the this there is two stiffened net petticoats and one internal rayon silk lining. The bodice of the dress is also lined, with two bones to the front and two at the back. This gives wonderful shaping and support to the wearers bodice.
It has been freshly dry cleaned and is now ready to wear.
As this garment is unsized I have given the measurements seam to seam for you to compare against a similar garment of your own.

This is a beautiful garment, but it’s been well worn. There are no storage or age marks, but there are a few hanging threads on the edge of the lace hem.
There is plenty of wear left in the gown, it’s perfect to team with a little bolero or capelet, or perhaps a stole or wrap. Perfect for those special festivals or retro music nights and 50s weekends.
